According to the police, the accident took place at 5 pm on Wednesday, when a girl residing in Ajitnagar in Jalandhar was going on a bike with her fiancé. Meanwhile, a truck came from behind and took both of them into the grip. After the accident, the boy was injured and the girl died. The police have registered a case against the accused truck driver.
It is being told that Ram Awadh, daughter of Ajit Nagar, was engaged to Ravinder Singh, a resident of Kishanpura, a year ago, Ruby, age 25. Ruby was employed in Jalandhar's Tagore Hospital and on Wednesday evening she was going with a fiancé after a vacation from the hospital. Then on a Kishanpura Road, a truck hit Damoriya bridge near the back and hit his bike. After the collision, the fiancee Ravinder fell away, but Ruby came under the truck wheels.
The neighbors immediately rushed Ruby to Tagore Hospital, but after reaching there, the doctors declared him dead. Since the accident, the fiancee Ravinder is in shock. At the same time, the police had left the truck and registered a case against the absconding driver Charanjit Singh.
