Fire in Paper Roll Factory

Ludhiana (Rishi / Tarun): A fire broke out at the ground floor at 8.40 pm, in the paper roll factory, Usha Inc, in Kripal Nagar, in the area of Thana Daresi. It is feared that there were chemicals in the drums of the fire, due to which there were 5 explosions followed by one in 20 minutes and there was a panic in the entire area. The people living around the densely populated area vacated the house due to panic.

When the fire broke out, the staff of the fire brigade managed to control the fire from the outside but demanded to call the factory owner before entering the premises so that he could find out what kind of chemicals were lying inside. When the factory owner did not come, they refused to enter. After the arson, people living in the surrounding houses did not have the courage to go inside.

Sudarshan Kumar has been running the factory for about 4 years at the place mentioned above. There is a transformer outside the factory. Rescue workers immediately shut down the lights of the area, which saved them due to a major accident. After the arson, the people started evacuating their homes and pulled them out to the gas cylinders. The fire brigade personnel reached the spot using foam to control the fire.
