SBI Has Your Account Read Before Going To Bank



If your account is in the country's second-largest bank SBI, then there is great news for you.
Ministry of Finance has instructed all public sector banks and financial institutions to provide clean toilets facility to their customers in all the branches located across the country. The Ministry has issued this directive to ensure the participation of these institutions in Clean India Mission.

In addition to this, the Ministry has been asked to allocate a major portion of its Corporate Social Responsibility Fund to Clean India Mission from 2018-19 to all banks and financial institutions to make the Clean India Mission of the Central Government fully successful. The Ministry has said that this step will enable adequate capital to run cleanliness campaign in the entire country.

There are about 1.25 lakh branches in 21 public sector banks in the country and six government insurance companies have a presence across the country. Financial Services Secretary Rajiv Kumar said that public sector banks/insurance companies will provide clean toilets for the customers. In addition, in 2018-19, the Clean India Mission will provide separate funds under Company Social Responsibility (CSR).

The Department of Financial Services and the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation will jointly establish a clean bank / financial institution award and this award will be provided to the bank/institute, which is exemplary in clean India Mission. The selection for the prize will be through competition.
