Dense fog, trains and many flights canceled in Delhi-NCR

Dense fog continues to remain constant in most parts of North India including Delhi-NCR. This is the densest fog of this season. Visibility has come down to 50 meters, which has a direct impact on road, rail and air traffic.

Due to dense fog, there are 5 domestic and 7 international flights lying late, one flight has to be canceled there. Due to fog, about 220 flights coming to Delhi and going from here are also affected.

Operation suspension has been suspended at IGI Airport due to poor visibility on the runway. Due to dense fog, rail traffic is also badly affected.

Many trains have been canceled, so most trains are delayed due to their scheduled time, due to which the passengers are stranded on the stations. Due to low visibility, traffic is crawling on the roads. A few meters away in the morning, nothing was visible.

On Sunday also, Delhi-NCR was in dense fog sheet. Due to fog, more than 150 flights were delayed while about 50 flights were diverted. Due to lack of visibility on the runway, about 20 flights were canceled. According to airport officials, at least 125 meters visibility is necessary for the take off on the runway.
